AGE: 45 • Wilmington
Sherry Lynn Hampton, age 45, of Wilmington, DE, was called home by the Lord on Wednesday, October 1, 2014.
Sherry was a kind hearted woman who loved being around people. She was a very active member of United Methodist Church and had a heart for the homeless. She enjoyed cooking and watching soap operas. Sherry loved her family very much and always put them first.
She is survived by her mother, Janet Rudolph; daughters, Britteny Kreisel (Dustin) and Alyssa Jordan; grandchildren, Kevin and Leah; sisters, Jenice Jackson and Dorothy McQuade (Mike); her uncle, Eddie Owens, Jr.; her faithful dog, Buddy; and many other loving family members and friends.
A visitation will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 11 AM - 12 Noon in the Richardson Park United Methodist Church, 11 N. Maryland Ave. Wilmington, DE 19804 followed by a service in celebration of Sherry's life at 12 Noon.
